A Team of Third Year Information Technology students namely, Sanket Bhardwaj, Himani Kapure, Satish Gogiya, Vivek Khairnar, Chandan Punjabi secured 5th rank in National Level Hackathon competed with 350 teams across India. This event was organized by Chhattisgarh Govt at Bhilai. They were being awarded by M. K. Varma (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Manoj Kulshreshtha (Pro-Vice Chancellor), I. P. Mishra (Chairman of Gangajali Education Society), Jaya Mishra (President), P. B. Deshmukh (Director), Sswayam P. Ranjan (CEO & Founder, Analytics Valley, Bangalore). It’s a Proud Moment for SVKM’s Institute of Technology, Dhule to achieve one more success at the National level. A team of 25 engineering students had Participated and awarded for Overall Runner Up (Cash prize ₹ 60,000/-) and best skidpad performer (cash prize ₹ 6000/-) in “TEGKC-2020” Electric go-kart championship during 13 Jan to 15 February 2020, held at TIT, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The team leader of “S-Falcon” Mr. Durgesh Borse and Kart rider Mr. Jayesh Bhamare of Third Year Mechanical Engineering shared his views on the Efforts taken in last two months by their team under the Guidance of Prof. Yogesh Sonawane and Prof. Bhushan Behede and how they achieved All India Rank 2nd at National level. The team “S-Falcons” took extensive efforts apart from the curriculum to learn the E-Go Kart concepts under the persistent guidance and encouragement from Principal Dr. Prof. Nilesh Salunke, Head of the Department Prof. Mohammed Juneduddin and all staff of Mechanical Engg. Department for such glorious achievement, the team is congratulated by the SVKM’s management and special appreciation by Hon Principal Dr. Prof. Nilesh Salunke.
